Lenzing fibers produced with REFIBRA technology have up to 50% recycled content from post-consumer waste without compromising Lenzing's high-quality fibres. The fibers are available on a commercial scale. This innovation is an important step in addressing the global problem of textile waste disposal. At the same time it reduces the extraction of wood as a raw material and relieves pressure on global forest ecosystems. REFIBRA fibers are, up to a third of the pulp comes from post-industrial and post-consumer cotton fabrics, combined with dissolving wood pulp from sustainably managed forests.
