This fibre is made from a blend of chitosan and viscose. Chitosan derives from chitin, a natural origin compound obtained from the shells of crabs and shellfish (food or production waste). Chitin is an absolutely safe material whose biocompatibility has been scientifically proven, so much so that it is also used in the medical, health and pharmaceutical sector. Characteristics: highly anti-bacterial, completely biodegradable, antiallergenic, good absorption of moisture.
